چکیده
The behavior of high-strength, fiber-reinforced concrete (HSFRC) beams under concentrated loads was affected by many different aspects, such as the type fibers used and volume percent fibers; nevertheless, primarily modifying shear span-to-depth ratio (a/d). In this experimental investigation, influence a/d ratios (ranging from 1.5 to 2.2) is investigated on response twelve high-strength containing varying amounts discontinuous steel fiber (vf) in mixture. purpose study analyze manner failures tested identify a limiting for effective beam depth. Shear failure observed (HSRC) with vf 0% at high 2.2, according findings study. Altering either or had an effect way which HSFRC responded stimulus. Some that were put through shear–flexure test failed. addition, demonstrated that, increased up 0.5% 0.75% broke pure flexure multi-cracking. This indicates has substantial impact various behaviors beams.

Strength and Toughness of Reinforced Concrete with Coated Steel Fibers
The effect of zinc phosphate (ZP) and zinc calcium phosphate (ZCP) coatings on the reinforcing mechanisms of smooth steel fiber in cementitious matrix have been studied. The results of pull out tests illustrated that by coating smooth steel fiber the pull-out load may be increased up to 100%. The effect of zinc phosphate coating on interface bonding was more than zinc-calcium phosphate coating....
متن کاملBond of High Strength Concrete with High Strength Reinforcing Steel
This paper presents a study about the bond of high strength concrete with high strength steel. Fourteen pull out tests were carried out to determine the bond. The concrete strength was about 70 MPa and the steel was a 500 MPa grade. Bar diameters used were 12, 16, 20, 25, 28, 32 and 36 mm. In order to investigate the effect of cover, each test was done twice, once in a 240 mm diameter concrete ...
متن کاملFinite Element Response Sensitivity Analysis of Steel-Concrete Composite Beams with Deformable Shear Connection
The behavior of steel-concrete composite beams is strongly influenced by the type of shear connection between the steel beam and the concrete slab. For accurate analytical predictions, the structural model must account for the interlayer slip between these two components. In numerous engineering applications e.g., in the fields of structural optimization, structural reliability analysis, and fi...
